How Adam Helps Clients

Prior to joining Buchanan, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Raymond B. Ray at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. During his clerkship, Adam analyzed all parts of the Bankruptcy Code, as well as related areas of state law, gaining a wide breadth of experience. He has handled issues arising in complex commercial bankruptcies in the real estate, financial and pharmaceutical industries.

Adam received his J.D. (with Honors) from the Emory University School of Law, where he was a managing editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and Deputy Director of the Emory Law School Supreme Court Advocacy Program. During law school, Adam externed at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the corporate restructuring division. While at the SEC, Adam had the opportunity to work on high stakes litigation, both within bankruptcy and securities enforcement. Adam also worked as an extern for the Department of Justice, Office of the U.S. Trustee.

Adam’s understanding of bankruptcy law, coupled with his robust legal research and writing skills, gives him the ability to handle a variety of issues that arise in all stages of bankruptcy and find solutions to clients’ problems.

My goal is to provide clients with efficient solutions to complex problems that best match the client’s goals.

Outside the Office

Adam is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing ice hockey and watching Gator Football. He also likes to travel and head to the beach when he’s not working.
