On Wednesday, January 28, 2009, Barry I. Slotnick — chairman of the New York Litigation Group at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney — will participate in the Institute of American and Talmudic (IAT) Law's 2009 Midwinter conference.

The conference, "The Right to Privacy and Individual Liberties — from Ancient Times to the Cyberspace Age," will explore ancient and modern ideas about privacy rights and its application to the latest cultural, economic and technological trends.

Slotnick will join the Honorable Antonin Scalia, associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as some of the country's top legal minds and privacy experts.

The conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York city.
