Thomas A. Bergstrom, of counsel in Buchanan's litigation section, was recently quoted in The Legal Intelligencer regarding the Montgomery County of Common Pleas Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy’s decision to block Kathleen Kane from presenting any evidence of a selective and vindictive prosecution at her next trial. Kane was “charged with leaking grand jury information and lying about it to a separate statewide grand jury that investigated her.”

"If that's her only defense then I think there's a problem," Thomas A. Bergstrom of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney said. "It's going to make the case tougher for them, no doubt about it."
