Theodore Sternklar is chair of the firm's Matrimonial & Family Law Practice. His practice focuses on family, domestic relations and matrimonial law.
Ted's practice focuses on family, domestic relations and matrimonial law. He also handles child custody disputes (domestic and international), same-sex couples relationship terminations and domestic partner disputes. Additionally, he counsels about and negotiates pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements between unmarried people.
He is a tenacious advocate and a results-oriented, seasoned trial lawyer and negotiator who brings to the table a blend of skill and experience that inform his work. In 2010 and 2011, Ted was named to AVENUE's "Legal Elite" list.
In addition to his family law practice, Ted is a commercial litigator with experience in the investigation and analysis of the complex financial issues that arise in matrimonial and commercial litigation matters.
