Stanley J. Milavec, Jr. has more than 25 years of legal experience, including 15 years of experience managing the legal affairs of large teaching hospitals and integrated health care delivery systems. He focuses on corporate and business law, corporate governance, regulatory matters and transactions. He also represents regional imaging centers, large physician practice groups, pharmaceutical companies, long-term care providers, medical device and equipment manufacturers and distributors, and health insurance companies.
As a co-founder of two revolutionary health care businesses, Stanley has knowledge and experience regarding a number of health industry-related matters, such as FDA applications, approvals and exemptions, negotiating and securing capital, and the sale and distribution of medical products and clinical services to hospitals, health systems, physicians and consumers. He also has experience advising clients from hospitals to private physicians on a number of health care related matters, from Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, to medical staff disputes, to acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures and divestitures.
Stanley has taught health care, licensing and contract related courses at both Columbia Law School and the Villanova University School of Law. He is listed in Philadelphia Super Lawyers® for Health Care, and in SmartCEO Magazine as one of Philadelphia’s “Legal Elite” for business legal advice.
