San Diego – February 4, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that Managing Shareholder of the firm’s San Diego office, Keith R. Solar, has been appointed to the California Direct Potable Reuse Advisory Group.

Solar focuses his practice on representing both public and private clients primarily in connection with water rights and water-related issues, matters involving the United States tuna industry, real estate matters and commercial law issues. With respect to water rights and water-related issues, Solar has extensive experience negotiating and documenting the purchase, sale or lease of adjudicated groundwater rights, groundwater, privately owned water systems, shares in mutual water companies, and public/private partnerships for municipal water systems.

About the Direct Potable Reuse (DPR) California Advisory Board
The Direct Potable Reuse (DPR) California Advisory Board is a group charged with advising the Expert Panel regarding the investigation of the feasibility of developing uniform water recycling criteria for direct potable reuse. The Expert Panel is responsible for advising the Department on health issues and scientific and technical matters.
