Co-chair of the Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Cybersecurity and Data Protection Group Matthew H. Meade will participate as a panelist at the Second Annual South Florida Privacy and Data Security Law Summit on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Newman Alumni Center at the University of Miami from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Meade will participate on two panels, where he will discuss emerging trends and developments in the laws governing how companies collect, use, store and dispose of sensitive information. The second panel, titled "Responding Like a Pro: A Mock Data Breach Response," will simulate a data breach and address some of the hard questions, where there is often no clear answer in the law.
