Tampa, FL – The Commonwealth Institute recognized Rhea F. Law, Chair of the Board and CEO of Fowler White Boggs, as one of the top women business leaders in Florida. Ms. Law was the only woman to have maintained the designation as a top women business leader in Florida over the past four years.  The Commonwealth Institute along with the Center for Leadership at Florida International University looked at approaches to business strategy, operations leadership and personal development characteristics of women leaders.  Ms. Law and the other honorees were recognized at the Fourth Annual Women-Led Businesses in Florida Luncheon and Award Ceremony on June 4, 2009 in Miami.

The mission of Florida International University’s Center for Leadership is to engage in cutting-edge research in the area of leadership development, to conduct leadership development programs for organizations to assist them in rapidly and predictably building leadership capacity, and to support the leadership development agenda of Florida International University. 

In addition to leading Fowler White Boggs, Ms. Law has an active law practice in the areas of developments of regional impact, environmental representation, land use and zoning matters.
