Randy P. Vulakovich is the firm's Chief Business Development Officer. He works closely with the firm's Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Board of Directors to achieve the firm's strategic business goals pertaining to client service, marketing and revenue generation.
Randy oversees Buchanan's business development and marketing team, which includes a director of communications, business development managers and marketing staff members. The team works together to provide prompt and comprehensive marketing and business development services to the firm's attorneys and government relations professionals.

Leading the firm's Business Development and Marketing Department, Randy has direct oversight of the firm's business development initiatives; budgets related to business development and marketing efforts; client teams and client feedback assessments; and targeted marketing strategies. He also focuses much of his efforts on strategic business planning.

Prior to becoming the firm's Chief Business Development Officer, Randy provided government affairs consulting services to clients in the areas of development, management and implementation of comprehensive political and legislative strategies, enabling his clients to overcome public policy, legislative, regulatory and procurement challenges. Randy's extensive knowledge of the political process aided clients in achieving their business objectives.

In 2010, Randy assumed a leadership role in the campaign of gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett. The campaign was successful, and Tom Corbett was elected Governor of Pennsylvania on November 2, 2010.
