Penny E. Zacharias
AssociateAs a member of the firm's Security Alarm Group, Penny works with a broad spectrum of clients, from start-up companies to large national companies. She is involved in many matters involving debt and/or equity financing. Much of her practice is devoted to representing clients that are either acquiring or selling businesses.
Penny has assisted in the following transactions:
- $110 million secured revolving credit facility and term loan for a borrower in the security alarm industry (counsel to agent).
- $35 million secured revolving credit facility and term loan for a borrower in the steel and foundry industry (counsel to agent).
- A secured revolving credit facility for a borrower in specialized products and accessories related to the defense industry (counsel to borrower).
- $20 million secured revolving credit facility for a borrower in the personal emergency response services industry (counsel to lender).
Penny is also knowledgeable and experienced in the area of microfinance. She has assisted with multiple securitizations of portfolios of cross-border loans to microfinance institutions in countries across Latin America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Penny was recognized in Philadelphia Magazine as a member of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Star list in 2008.
