Carla J. Vrsansky
Counsel
Carla J. Vrsansky practices in the fields of patent, trademark and copyright law. She is a Registered Patent Attorney whose practice includes the preparation and prosecution of utility patent applications concentrating in the mechanical and chemical fields.
Carla has experience in preparing and prosecuting design patent applications. She also has counseled clients on trademark law. She has assisted clients in adoption of trademarks by performing and reviewing trademark searches. She has prepared and reviewed a variety of agreements including confidentiality and license agreements.
Prior to joining Buchanan in 1996, Carla was an in-house attorney with a Fortune 100 corporation, counseling the corporation's furniture, office equipment and broadcasting clients on all aspects of intellectual property law.
Carla attended law school in the evening while working as a chemist at an environmental laboratory, analyzing soil and water samples for toxicity.
