Rhea Law is featured as one of Tampa Bay Business Journal's Power 100 for 2017, which highlights Tampa Bay's most influential business leaders. She's noted for her hand in the city's transportation future, her work with Jeb Bush and her leadership within the local community. Rhea's feature reads as follows:

"Rhea Law: Florida market chair, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney

She is a fixture among Tampa's elite, especially when it comes to the future of transportation in the car-centric city. Law also has pull in another sphere. Former presidential GOP frontrunner Jeb Bush recently teamed up with the law firm in a strategic affiliation. The move between the law firm and his consulting firm Jeb Bush & Associates, reflects his ties to Law, whom he appointed to the Florida Council of 100, where she just completed a term as chairwoman. Bush, a two-term Florida governor from 1999 to 2007, also appointed her to the board of trustees at the University of South Florida. Law became chairman of Buchanan's Florida offices when the previous firm that she led - Fowler White Boggs - merged with Buchanan in March 2014, in a deal that allowed the enlarged firm to become a dominant player in Florida. Most recently, Law was named to the board of directors for Tampa Electric Co., which has approximately 730,000 customers in west central Florida and another 370,000 customers statewide serviced by its affiliated utility, Peoples Gas System."
