Labor and Employment Attorney George Basara named in Labor Relations Institute's "Top One Hundred Labor Attorneys" in the Nation

July 16, 2009

Pittsburgh, PA, July 16, 2009 — George Basara, a shareholder in the Labor and Employment Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office, was recently named to the list of "Top One Hundred Labor Attorneys" in the United States for 2009, as compiled by Labor Relations Institute, Inc., a leading industry information source.

Inclusion on the list puts Basara in the top one percent of labor attorneys in the U.S., making Basara one of the most active attorneys representing companies in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)-monitored elections.

Basara made the elite list by being selected from more than 9,000 attorneys evaluated by Labor Relations Institute. The honor of "Top One Hundred" was determined by the number of NLRB elections in which each attorney provided representation and the success of those election outcomes.

"To be included in the Top One Hundred is a tremendous honor," according to LRI CEO Donald P. Wilson. "It acknowledges these attorneys' professionalism and long-term dedication to their clients."

Basara was also named to the list in 2006.
