Buchanan Ingersoll shareholder Richard A. Morgan's work on behalf of Food For The Poor (FFP) was noted in the February 5, 2006, edition of The Miami Herald.

Morgan, a member of the Litigation Section in the firm's Miami office, spearheaded an effort to collect sporting goods for FFP, the most significant relief organization in the Caribbean and Central America. His efforts led to the donation of everything from soccer balls to baseball uniforms to roller skates and bicycles.

Since its founding in 1982, FFP has distributed more than $2.3 billion in food, medical, educational, building and small business supplies to 16 countries in the Caribbean and Central America. It supports programs to teach recipients how to raise livestock, develop small businesses and provides agricultural assistance to independent farmers.
