Lisa S. Wren focuses her practice on representing financial institutions and corporations in a wide variety of simple and complex commercial credit transactions, including multi-lender agented credit facilities, asset-based loans, bond financings, inter-company loans, letters of credit, mezzanine loans and commercial mortgages.
Lisa has worked with clients in many aspects of commercial credit transactions, including structuring facilities, drafting and negotiating documents, researching special regulatory issues and reviewing due diligence.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Lisa was an associate with an AmLaw 100 Philadelphia-based firm, where she secured credit transactions with a broad range of collateral, including health care insurance receivable, cable and television licenses and franchises, certificated and uncertificated investment property, third-party deposit and brokerage accounts, intellectual property, trust assets and fixtures.
Before that, Lisa was an associate in another New Jersey law firm, where she gained experience with drafting limited liability company agreements, shareholder agreements and asset sale and purchase agreements for closely held companies. She represented lenders and borrowers in secured commercial credit facilities. She began her legal career by handling small business litigation for a Pennsylvania-based firm.
Following law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable R. Barry McAndrews of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas.
In 2009 and 2010, Lisa was honored by her peers and named to the New Jersey Rising Stars® list, which represents only the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in New Jersey.
