Kate R. Paine focuses her practice on a variety of litigation matters.
Kate was a 2010 summer associate in the firm's Pittsburgh office.
While attending law school, Kate worked as a summer intern for the Center for Human Rights and the Environment in Córdoba, Argentina. There, she researched and presented, in Spanish, on the current state of the Alien Tort Claims Act. She also assisted in the creation of an innovative tool designed to measure corporate impact on human rights.
Prior to attending law school, Kate spent her summers working as a paralegal for two small Chicago-based law firms, where she focused on probate and real estate matters and medical negligence
Kate is fluent in Spanish and previously worked as an English language and culture assistant at a secondary school in Seville, Spain.
