Karen M. Wynn is responsible for directing the firm's human resources activities, including policy development, benefits, performance management, compensation, employee relations, employee communications, office administration and human resources systems. She also directs the recruitment, orientation and professional development of all administrative support personnel.
With over 30 years of experience in human resources, administration and operations, Karen assists, advises and instructs firm management about human resources issues and programs in compliance with policy and state and federal laws.
Karen's experience includes:
- Over 13 years of corporate human resources managerial experience with a world leader in the titanium metals manufacturing industry. Primary responsibilities included the oversight of company's compensation and benefits programs. Also served as human resources manager for multiple sales offices and service centers.
- Three years as corporate human resources executive for an emerging, multi-location high tech business. Company named fastest growing company by Pittsburgh High Technology Council for those three years. Developed company's first trainee program.
- Corporate Human Resources executive for a multi-location, light manufacturing operation. Served as the human resources liaison and industry consultant in acquisition of this operation. Served on mergers and acquisitions team of the acquiring company for future acquisitions in this industry.
In 1996 and again in 1999, Karen was recruited to create an internal human resources department for the first time in the history of these multi-location companies. Karen is a member of several professional human resources associations, and has served as a guest lecturer at Robert Morris University, discussing the current trends and topics of her field.
