  • Assisted in obtaining a $5.9 million dollar verdict for a large public university after a seven-week bench trial arising from the allegedly deficient design of $100 million basketball arena.
  • Obtained complete defense verdict for communications provider on claims for tortious interference with contract following two-week jury trial in Pennsylvania state court.
  • Worked with design professional and consultant to perform early analysis of contractor’s claim for damages on public project, which resulted in favorable settlement of claim before litigation.
  • Successfully obtained a unanimous decision from the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on an issue of first impression. In re Private Road in Spears Boro, II, Washington County, 11 A.3d 902 (Pa. 2011).
  • Assisted in representation of large banking client in litigation over non-competition and non-solicitation obligations owed by former employees and their subsequent employer, resulting in favorable settlement for the client.
  • Assisted in obtaining preliminary injunction against competitor in false advertising/Lanham Act matter; award of injunction was affirmed on appeal to Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Groupe SEB USA, Inc. v. Euro-Pro Operating LLC, 774 F.3d 192 (3rd Cir. 2014).
  • Successfully obtained preliminary injunction for security company seeking to invoke non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality provisions of employment agreement against former employer.
  • Successfully defeated request for preliminary injunction against national energy company in oil and gas dispute.
  • Assisted in representing a national health care company in litigation arising from a $210 million acquisition, resulting in a favorable settlement for the client.
  • Successfully obtained dismissal of a federal civil rights lawsuit for an employee of a non-profit organization. Doe v. Upper St. Clair School District, 2008 WL 4861892, 2008 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 90649 (W.D. Pa., Nov. 9, 2008).
