Jill M. Lashay, shareholder in Buchanan’s Labor and Employment section, was quoted in an article in The Central Penn Business Journal titled, “It's complicated: Five areas of law in flux for Pennsylvania business owners.” The piece focuses on recently issued guidance by The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against certain employers for employment discrimination based on sexual orientation in the workplace.

“Nonetheless, employers should be aware that the commission will take action under Title VII if they believe a company's LGBT employees are suffering harassment or discrimination,” said shareholder Jill Lashay of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC in Harrisburg.
