Miami – June 23, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that Shareholder Jennifer Olmedo-Rodriguez has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society for a one-year term.

Olmedo-Rodriguez, a shareholder in the Miami office’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses in the area of commercial litigation and civil appellate litigation. She has litigated cases involving banking, UCC issues and construction-defect matters. Her appellate experience allows her to protect the record and properly prepare a case for appeal as it travels through the trial court.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Florida International University and her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

About the Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society

The Third District Court of Appeal Historical Society was formed to commemorate and preserve the Court’s history. The Society’s mission is “to preserve the Court’s historical records; to create further records, in print and electronic media; to document the history and achievements of the Court; and to educate the public about the workings of the Court and the judicial system.”
