Buchanan's Pittsburgh office, One Oxford Centre, Pittsburgh, PA

Jennifer R. Minter, a shareholder in the Corporate Finance & Technology Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office and a member of the Venture Capital and Emerging Companies Practice Group, will participate in "Top Female Entrepreneurs Who Are Venturing Into the Newest Technologies," taking place Wednesday, August 18 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Buchanan's Pittsburgh office. The panel discussion is presented by TiE-Pittsburgh — a non-profit network of entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in the Pittsburgh region — and proudly supported by the firm.

The panel discussion will feature leading female executives and entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and expertise. Among the topics they will cover:

  • What types of new technology companies are women leading?
  • How does our region measure up?
  • How are they attracting funding and who is funding them?
  • What challenges do they face and what advantages do they have in today's business environment?

Panelists include:
