Jane E. Hepner's practice is concentrated in the areas of venture capital, financial transactions and the representation of technology-based and entrepreneurial companies. Jane has represented more than 15 venture capital funds and institutional and private investors throughout the United States.
Jane has also served as counsel for many technology-based companies.
Jane has experience in investment transactions, including bridge and mezzanine fundings, equity financings, subordinated debt, acquisitions and mergers with private and public companies and initial public offerings. She also has experience with technology-based companies in licensing and distribution arrangements, technology transfers and assignments and intellectual property matters.
She has represented entrepreneurial companies and their founders and shareholders in connection with employment and consulting arrangements, incentive plans, relationships among shareholders, proprietary rights and non-disclosure issues and private securities offerings.
