Ivette became a practicing attorney in 2000 after graduating that year from the University of Miami School of Law. She spent five years at a Miami law firm handling residential and commercial real estate transactions and securities litigation matters, before venturing into the public sector and the public-private and non-profit business sectors. Ivette is fluent in Spanish.
