This program, presented by the Practising Law Institute, focuses on the resolution of international business disputes and the unique issues they raise in the context of arbitration. At this program, a panel of experts, including Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Mauricio Gomm Ferreira dos Santos, will share their knowledge and experience, including strategies, recent cases, new trends and practical tips.

The program will address dispute resolution clauses, international arbitration involving energy disputes, the international arbitrator's and arbitral institution's points of view, recent developments in the law and tips on enforcing arbitral awards. Gomm Santos's portion of the program will focus on Brazil, and will include discussion on the attitude of the courts, bridging the civil law/common law divide and enforcement of awards in Brazil.
