Presidential candidate Jeb Bush unveiled his energy policy yesterday at our client Rice Energy’s location in Canonsburg, just outside of Pittsburgh. During the event, Mr. Bush explained his energy plan, which focused on growing the economy through natural gas development. Several national and local media outlets covered the event, including the Pittsburgh Business Times, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and the International Business Times.

In his speech, Mr. Bush discussed the need for cheaper, more reliable energy, approving the Keystone XL Pipeline and reducing overregulation on energy producers. He also explained that the federal ban on oil exports – which has been barred since the 1970s –should be lifted.
