How Chance Helps Clients
Chance concentrates on all aspects of appellate practice in both state and federal appellate courts. Having worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Marva L. Crenshaw with Florida's Second District Court of Appeal and as an attorney in the Central Staff division of the Second District prior to joining Judge Crenshaw's chambers, Chance brings valuable insight when it comes to advocating for his clients on appeal. He is also part of the firm's Data Privacy and Antitrust Class Action teams, focusing on appellate issues. Chance is Board Certified in Appellate Practice by the Florida Bar.
While in law school, Chance worked as an intern with the Economic Crimes Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Florida and the Appellate Division of the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, Region One, in Tallahassee.
Chance has been selected for inclusion in the Florida Rising Stars® list consecutively since 2019 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones To Watch since 2021 for Appellate Practice. Most recently, Chance was recognized in the 2022 edition of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Up & Comers.
What Clients Can Expect
Chance is committed to ensuring that his clients' interests and goals are protected and prioritized throughout the unique and complex process of an appeal.
I strive to find creative, comprehensive and successful solutions to a client's problems.
Outside the Office
A native Floridian, Chance was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, and moved to Tampa after finishing law school. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, distance running, going to concerts, and playing and recording music. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, piano and drums. If he had not chosen a career in law, Chance would probably be pursuing a career as a touring musician.
