Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that on Thursday, September 15, 2011, S. Carey Villeneuve was sworn-in as a new member of the board of directors of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA). The FBA, founded in 1920, is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law. The FBA is the catalyst for communication between the bar and the bench, as well as the private and public sectors. 

Carey Villeneuve is an associate in the Business and Appellate Litigation Practice.  Mr. Villeneuve concentrates his practice in all types of business litigation including disputes involving corporate liability, class actions, contracts, real property, insurance, risk management, warranty, lending institutions, and foreclosures.  He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Florida and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law.  After law school Mr. Villeneuve served as a judicial clerk for U.S. District Court Judge J.P. Stadtmueller of the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
