Buchanan’s David L. Plantz Appointed to Emilio Nares Foundation Board of Directors
Joining the Board, which is made of up 12 prominent businesspeople, Plantz will be tasked with the oversight and governance of the non-profit, which assists families whose children are suffering from cancer. He will be responsible for fundraising events, community outreach and providing guidance to the officers of the organization, among other things.
Plantz focuses his practice on a variety of matters relating to financial services, real estate and general corporate law out of the firm’s San Diego office. His practice includes the representation of major banks and other capital providers with respect to the negotiation and documentation of syndicated and bi-lateral financing, development and acquisition transactions.
He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University.

The Emilio Nares Foundation’s goal is to assist families with children who are battling childhood leukemia and other forms of childhood cancer. In addition to its transportation and other programs, ENF serves as an information and resource center for parents of children who have cancer.
