On Friday, June 12, 2009, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office will host Neighborhood Legal Services Association's Summer 2009 Seminar. "Helping Domestic Violence Victims Obtain Protection Orders" will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the 20th floor of the firm's Pittsburgh office, located at One Oxford Centre, 301 Grant Street.

Representatives from the Women's Center and Shelter, as well as the director of the PFA Division of the Family Court of Allegheny County will serve as speakers at the event.

The seminar has been approved for CLE credits (3 substantive, 1 ethics) by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board. To learn more about the NLSA, click here.

The mission of Neighborhood Legal Services Association (NLSA) is to meet the civil legal needs of the poor and vulnerable in the community through effective legal representation and education. NLSA's service area covers four counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania — Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Lawrence.
