WASHINGTON, D.C. – November 19, 2015 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today the addition of Corporate Finance and Technology attorney Kevin L. Passarello as counsel in its Washington, D.C. office.

Passarello is a serial entrepreneur with experience encompassing emerging companies and technology transactions; corporate finance; venture capital and private equity; intellectual property and licensing; mergers and acquisitions; corporate law and governance; legislative and regulatory affairs; and not-for-profit organizations.

Before joining Buchanan, Passarello co-founded two venture-backed technology companies (in the enterprise software and mobile hardware markets) with successful exits, as well as a $60 million private equity buyout fund with more than $300 million in M&A transactions. He most recently co-founded a predictive analytics company in the medical space, in which he maintains an interest. He has hands-on international business experience in Belgium, China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

He earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1986 and his bachelor’s degree from St. Vincent College in 1983 where he graduated as valedictorian. Passarello clerked from 1986—1987 for the late Hon. Carol Los Mansmann on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
