Pittsburgh – April 16, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that Intellectual Property Shareholder Lynn J. Alstadt has received the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Arthur Seidel Distinguished IP Service Award. The award is “in recognition of his commitment to the highest standards of Excellence in Intellectual Property Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.” The award was announced at a PBI program on April 8.

Alstadt practices out of the firm’s Pittsburgh office. His practice involves a wide range of technical subjects including mechanical, electrical, electronic, e-commerce, biotech, chemical, metallurgical and computer fields. He has obtained and litigated patents on a variety of products including computers, business methods, medical devices, corrosion resistant alloys, consumer products and toys.
