Washington, D.C. – October 10, 2017 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney adds Jason R. Parish, shareholder, to the firm’s Litigation section in the Washington, D.C. office. Parish is the latest in the string of litigation hires in the past year as the section added 20 attorneys in offices across the firm, including four in D.C.

Parish focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and government investigations, including matters arising under the antitrust laws and the False Claims Act. He has been closely involved in numerous "bet-the-company" matters, including litigation related to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and government investigations related to a major auto manufacturer's alleged use of "defeat devices" in government emissions tests. Parish's clients include companies in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer products and financial services industries.

"Jason is a great addition to the Litigation section as we continue to grow and add accomplished litigators. His antitrust and products liability experience complements the attorneys in our D.C. office as well as our entire section, and more importantly, our existing and future clients who seek assistance with minimizing risks and dealing with litigation challenges," said Gretchen L. Jankowski, co-chair of Buchanan’s Litigation section.

"Jason has a comprehensive track record of successes, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Washington, D.C. office. Our clients’ needs are extremely complex and require depth of talent and experience and Jason has plenty of both," added Amy Miller, shareholder and head of Buchanan’s D.C. area litigation.

"I'm excited to continue building my practice at Buchanan as a part of its team of fantastic litigators. I look forward to offering my healthcare and pharmaceutical clients the unmatched dedication, precision and creativity of Buchanan's team, including its deep bench of experienced attorneys and its top-notch FDA practice," noted Parish.

Parish received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. in International Studies from American University. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the National LGBT Association.
