HARRISBURG, Pa. – December 6, 2016 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has hired Hannah L. Walsh as advisor in the firm’s state government relations practice group. Walsh brings with her nearly 10 years of government relations experience, particularly in the health care space and will be based in the firm’s Harrisburg office.
Walsh joins Buchanan from the Pennsylvania Medical Society, an association which serves as the voice of the state’s physicians, where she served as associate director of legislative affairs. Prior to that, Walsh was the legislative director for former Pennsylvania state senator, Timothy J. Solobay (D - 46th) and also worked in the Office of the Democratic Leader of the Pennsylvania Senate.

Walsh is a graduate of Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and is a member of Harrisburg Young Professionals.
