Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Associate Brendan P. Lucas to its Pittsburgh Energy Practice

Pittsburgh – July 9, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce the addition of Associate Brendan P. Lucas to the firm’s Energy Practice Group in the Pittsburgh office.

Lucas focuses his practice on energy and natural resources law, where he has experience analyzing, negotiating, preparing and reviewing contracts and agreements, including joint operating agreements, unitization/pooling agreements, farm-in/farm-out agreements and surface use agreements.

He previously served as a land analyst for a natural gas and oil extraction company based in Pittsburgh. He was also a district landman for a powerhouse lease acquisition, project management and title firm in the energy industry.

Lucas earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
