On Wednesday, July 2, the hearing for firm client Conemaugh Health System’s proposed sale provided an “insider’s look at how the system’s board decided to sell,” reported an article in the Tribune-Democrat, a local paper published in Johnstown, Pa. Assisting the client is a cross-section transactional and litigation team of Thomas E. Boyle, Pamela E. Hepp, Samuel W. Braver and Deborah A. Little.

The article describes the on-going litigation of Conemaugh Health System’s recent board decision to sell their nonprofit organization to for-profit Duke LifePoint. The purpose of the litigation is to make sure the public interest is protected.

Braver is the lead litigator for Conemaugh Health System in the on-going litigation.
