We have a diverse client base and are involved with a wide range of industries including real estate, manufacturing, retail, health care, technology, natural resources, security alarm and insurance. With offices in New York City and Wilmington, Delaware, we are involved in many of the largest bankruptcy cases.
Financial know-how.
Much of our
multi-disciplinary practice involves regular representation of banks and other financial institutions in asset based lending, secured transactions, real estate finance (including tax credit financing), subordinated debt financing, syndications, out-of-court restructurings and workouts. We frequently represent agent banks in the workout and restructuring of syndicated loans. We work seamlessly with our
financial services team to counsel and
formulate strategies with financially distressed companies to meet their goals and produce the best outcome possible.
Another strength of our practice involves the representation of creditors, debtors and other parties in bankruptcy and insolvency cases pending in federal and state courts. We work to
reorganize distressed businesses or liquidate assets in a manner that preserves and maximizes value. In addition, we routinely represent entities interested in acquiring troubled companies or their assets. We assist with structuring, negotiating and documenting the transaction.
